Principal Dancer of the National Ballet of China, and the National Second-class Dancer. 

Graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2018, Ning Long joined the National Ballet of China in the same year.

Since she entered NBC, she has starred in Chinese ballet The Red Detachment of Women, Yimeng, the symphony ballet Yellow River, and Roland Petit's Carmen, La Chauve-Souris. She has played the role of “Myrtha” in the romantic ballet Giselle, “Leading Crane” in Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version), “Fairy Godmother” in Ben Stevenson's Cinderella, "Gamzatti" in Natalia MarKallova's La Bayadère and“Soloist Woman” in George Balanchine's Jewels (Rubies). And she also danced in NBC's repertoires Swan Lake, The Crane Calling, Diamonds, La Sylphide and Serenade, as well as Chinese and foreign ballets and new creations such as Grand Pas de Deux, Pas de Quatre, Swan, Hamlet, Treading the Lotus and Chasing After the Moon, Leaves in the Rain and Son and Daughter of the Grassland. In 2020, she danced the leading role in the original anti-epidemic ballet Flying Against the Wind.

In 2018, Ning Long participated in a series of performances of "top dancers in campus" organized by the China Dancers Association. In 2019, she participated in the performance of Boao Forum for Asia, and the recording of China Education Channel's "Aesthetic Education China". In the same year, she also participated in the performance Dunhuang Flying Apsaras at China Media Group Spring Festival Gala Evening with the Company. In 2022, she won the 17th “Cultural Performance Award”.In April 2023, she participated in an artistic exchange with Mzansi Ballet in Johannesburg, South Africa. In June, she attended the 31st Benois de la Danse Awards Ceremony at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. In September, she performed as a lead dancer in the "Elegance of Chinese Traditions" segment during the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games.
