Soloist of National Ballet of China, and the National Second-class Dancer.

Graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2011, Sun Haifeng joined the National Ballet of China NBC in the same year.

After entering the Company, he has danced the leading roles in John Neumeier's The Little Mermaid, George Balanchine's Jewels and Serenade, the original ballet Inspiration and Glory. He also danced the "Prince Gremin" in Onegin, "Hans" in Giselle, the "The Crane-King" in The Crane Calling, and the "Flying Apsara" in The Light of Heart, and the major roles in the world-renowned ballet works such as Carmen, Don Quixote, Songs and Dances of the Earth, A Dream of Red Mansion. He has participated in Swan Lake, La Bayadère, The Red Detachment of Women, L'arlesienne, La Chauve-Souris, Raise the Red Lantern, The Peony Pavilion, Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version) and Ode to Joy.

In 2022, he participated in the 12th Ballet Workshop as choreographer for the first time, with the work Before the Next Move, and then created One to Two and Threads of the Sky in the 13th and 15th Ballet Workshop in 2023 and 2025. While in 2024, he created the work Carrying the Plume for the students of The School of NBC, which won the Special Jury Award in the 3rd Ailian International Ballet Dance Competition.
