On the evening of May 20th in local time, Ulysses Cultural Center in Brasilia was so bustling that the Grand Theater, which can hold more than 3000 audiences, was packed. This one of the largest conference centers in South America, filled with festive atmosphere, welcomed the artists of the Ballet of China again after nine years.

At 8: 00 p.m., the Ballet Gala kicked off as promised. Brazilian politicians and distinguished guest such as Michelle Bolsonaro, Brazilian President's wife , Paula Mourao, Vice President's wife, Osmar Terra, Minister of Civil and Social Action Department and Cruz, Minister of the Secretariat of the President Office of Brazil , and the guests from China like Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Yang Wanming and his wife, Minister Song Yang , Minister Counselor Qu Yuhui, and Cultural Counselor Shu Jianping attended and watched the performance that night.

After the performance, Brazilian President's wife Michelle Bolsonaro, Vice President's wife Paula Mourao and other distinguished guests, accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Yang Wanming and his wife and Secretary of the Party Committee of National Ballet of China Wang Quanxing, came to the stage to cordially greet the artists of the Ballet of China. Mrs. Michelle Bolsonaro said affectionately: " I was deeply touched by the wonderful performance!"

The fine ballet party included not only the excellent selections from classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Pas de Quatre, but also the Carmen pas de deux, which contains French romance and charm, the inspiring symphonic ballet The Yellow River Chapter III , which shows the self-improvement of the Chinese nation, the wonderful sections of the ballet Raise the Red Lantern with Chinese traditional culture, and excerpts from the original Chinese ballet The Crane Calling. There were also modern ballets Permanent Yesterday and Close Your Eyes When It's Getting Darkness, which were created by Fei Bo and Zhang Zhenxin, the choreographers of the National Ballet of China, and had won numerous awards at home and abroad.
