On December 16th, as the ninth performance of the Performing Season to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of National Ballet of China, The Light of Heart was staged in Beijing Tianqiao Theater. As the stage curtain slowly opened, the splendid Dunhuang art was displayed in the graceful ballet performance.

On the night of the performance, Tang Jianping, the former director of the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music and famous composer, and Wang Danhong, a composer of the China National Traditional Orchestra, were deeply affected by the dance and highly praised the performance.
The German choreographer Patrick De Bana specially came to Beijing Tianqiao Theater to watch the ballet The Light of Heart performed by National Ballet of China in the performing season to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of NBC. He said that he appreciated the show so much and it was really enjoyable to watch the performance.
The splendid civilization hidden in the desert had been brought alive because of the exquisite ballet dance, the interpretation of the mind and the fervent feelings buried in the hearts of dancers. The ballet also drew a vivid group image of "Dunhuang people". They are the representation of the protectors of Dunhuang Arts who have dedicated and sacrificed themselves in the protection and inheritance of Chinese tradition culture. And the spirits of these people as well as their devotion gather together and became a bright light of heart, following which generations of Dunhuang protectors keep moving forward…
