At the end of 2025, National Ballet of China will premiere a new version of a classic ballet, Le Corsaire in Beijing Tianqiao Theater from December 20 to 26.

Le Corsaire is a work of special significance to NBC, which is called the “three cornerstones” together with Swan Lake and Giselle at the beginning of the establishment of the Company. NBC firstly staged this ballet as early as 1959, and then rehearsed it again in 1998, which was well received by the audience.

In 2025, NBC will once again stage a new version of Le Corsaire with NBC's own characteristics.
