At the beginning of midsummer, with lush greenery providing ample shade, the artists of the National Ballet of China (NBC) have embarked on a summer tour of more than a month, bringing the Chinese classic ballet The Red Detachment of Women, the Romantic ballet Giselle, the classical ballet Swan Lake as well as the public popularization program Journey Into the World of Ballet to audiences in Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai, Huzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Urumqi,  allowing more audiences to experience the beauty of ballet art.

On June 23 and 24, the Chinese classic ballet The Red Detachment of Women was once again staged at the Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts.

Highlights

On the morning of June 25, Party members and representatives of the dancers and staff from the NBC tour team visited the Nanjing Yuhuatai Martyrs' Memorial Park for a study visit.

Next, the Romantic ballet classic Giselle will continue to be staged at the Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts on June 26 and 27. Ballet lovers, don't miss it!
