The 14th China Arts Festival, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, is in full swing. As a nominated production for the 18th Wenhua Award, the ballet A Dream of Red Mansions, performed by the National Ballet of China, was staged at the Chongqing Shi Guangnan Grand Theatre on October 23 and 24.

Highlights on Oct. 23-24

National Ballet of China will also present the Chinese ballet classic The Red Detachment of Women at the Sichuan Grand Theatre on November 22 and 23. Following that, the ballet A Dream of Red Mansions will be staged at the Chongqing Grand Theatre on November 29 and 30. Additionally, The Red Detachment of Women will be performed at the Qionghai Grand Theatre and the Hainan Center for the Performing Arts from November 1 to 16.
