On January 20 and 21, 2026, National Ballet of China was invited to open the Chinese Performing Arts Hong Kong Season. At the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the NBC presented Giselle, the pinnacle of Romantic ballet renowned as the "crown of ballet."

Long after the curtain call, the captivated audience remained, unwilling to leave the auditorium, while thunderous applause and joyous cheers rippled through the theatre.

The artists of NBC also engaged in a warm meet-and-greet with the enthusiastic Hong Kong audience.
