From May 1 to 3, the 16th Ballet Workshop Evening was successfully staged by the National Ballet of China (NBC) at the Beijing Tianqiao Theatre.

The performances were hosted by Zhang Zhenxin, the Chief Director of this year's workshop, and Fang Lingdi, a young dancer from the NBC.

This year's workshop brought together 13 choreographers from China and abroad, who meticulously created 12 original works that embrace contemporary life and stay rooted in reality.
